Wait a minute here. Let’s take it back. Here is the origin of the questions above. It all started last Tuesday night, while sitting in my technology class. The content of the course seemed pretty interesting and the teacher captivated me, until some outgoing students started adding unnecessary comments. That’s right. You know what I am talking about. Yes… unfortunately, those comments. The type of comments ending up completely out of line. Those implying personal experiences. Those name dropping comments showing off how deep their knowledge of the issue is. Yes unfortunately, those comments. This may seem like a complaint letter, but it really isn’t. Consider this as a suggestive paper. Here is what I am suggesting. If you raise your hand to speak out in class, do it to ASK A QUESTION. Not to comment or to add your personal touch. Do it to ask a question. If you did not know, let me inform you. An unnecessary comment in class does not make you look smart or knowledgeable. It takes up our precious time and irritates me to the point where I may leave class, and believe me, I am not the only one. Ok. So what I am saying may seem a little drastic. So here is what I really suggest. 50% less comments in class and 50% more tolerance from my side. This way, we both give in somehow. Consider this…
