European Distance Education Network (EDEN)

Il s'agit d'un réseau et d'une place de regroupement pour la communauté européenne de l'enseignement à distance et de la formation en ligne. On l'appelle aussi le European Distance and E learning Network. Cette organisation existe pour partager les conaissances et pour améliorer la compréhension sur la formation à distance et en ligne à travers l'Europe et dans le monde. Fort de 1 000 membres individuels et 197 membres institutionels, EDEN organise des conférences sur la recherche, sur les secteurs scolaires, en plus de forunir un journal en ligne (EURODL) et d'aider à des projets européens. Actif depuis 1991, EDEN a entre autre contribué à développer la politique européenne de l'enseignement à distance et en ligne.
